Skiing and CSAPs
So we didn't make it skiing after being totally ready at bedtime the night before with equipment rented, clothes laid out, lessons scheduled, etc. We woke up to a blizzard, and I looked online at the mountain conditions - 20 degrees with 25 mph winds making it feel like -5!!! Jeff and I didn't want that to be the kids' first experience and I was afraid Baylie might blow off the mountain :/ We have plans to try again this Sunday :)
The kids started their third trimester last week and I cannot believe we have been here for 8 months!! Brady is registering for 8th grade, which does not seem possible to me....I'm in denial and do not feel old enough to have a teenager!! My 20-year reunion is this summer though, so guess I am!! The kids are taking CSAPs for the next two wks (Colorado's WASL) and the school (actually the parents) provides breakfast each morning, which saves me from feeding them first thing in the a.m. but of course, I am running something over to the school instead.....hmmmm.... not sure if I like that trade-off or not.
Spring break is approaching and we are excited for the Schwabs to come for the first half of the week and Zach and Kayla the second half!! March is supposed to be the snowiest month by history here in CO, so keep your fingers crossed that we will have some of those warm days I am always bragging about!

Make a scrapbook - it's easy! |
We had a great time visiting family and friends on our visit...it went too fast!! We are happy to be home, however, to play with our new toys. Thanks to everyone who housed us, fed us, kept our kids, etc. See you all again this summer!
